Carmona, Cavite Mayor Roy Loyola has asked for the public’s cooperation amid the recent spike of COVID-19 cases in the municipality.

In a video posted on Facebook, Loyola said 81 percent of the new cases recorded in Carmona involved workers.

With a vaccine yet to be found against COVID-19, Loyola urged the public to observe basic health protocols, such as wearing face masks outside their homes and frequent handwashing.
