Dapat healthy! Laguna Rep. Ruth Mariano Hernandez gives out vitamins and supplements to undernourished kids
Health is definitely wealth in this time of a pandemic, which is why Laguna Rep. Ruth Mariano Hernandez is taking nutrition month seriously.
In a Facebook post, Hernandez said she has taken steps to help the undernourished children in her province.
She got in touch with the Municipal Nutrition Action Officer of Los Baños and Bay and the City Nutrition Action Officer of Cabayuao to get data on undernourished children.
She said she would give out vitamins and Ready to Use Supplementary Food to children aged six to 24 months, and to those in pre-school age.
These would strengthen their bodies and immune system and help them grow up well.
She wants a healthy community amid the pandemic, she added.
Proper nutrition is key!
#SipagAtMalasakit,” Hernandez posted.
