We need leaders, not politicians, at this time, says Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla
Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla knows what the priorities should be and it is the problem brought about by the new coronavirus.
People are suffering and dying from the health and economic issues stemming from the COVID 19 pandemic, Remulla said in a Facebook post.
This was why he did not sign the manifesto for the anti-terror bill, he said.
What is needed is for the country to be pointed to the right direction to recover.
And this way requires testing, tracing, isolation of patients, medical care, jobs, transportations, help for OFWs, and a rational education plan.
However, people are now cynical and losing hope, he said.
We need leaders, not politicians, he added.
Will the leaders of the country please step up!

1. Ayon sa Department of Finance, 51% have either lost their jobs or are on a limited work schedule. They have little to almost having no savings left.
2. 11% are unemployed but still have savings to tide them over.
3. Hindi na kaya bumalik sa ECQ muli dahil baka tuluyan nang bumagsak ang ekonomiya ng bansa.
4. Kailangan ng mga mamamayan na hanapin ang balanse: kalusugan o kabuhayan.
5. This is the very reason I did not sign the manifesto for the Anti-Terror Bill.
We are in crisis.
People are having a very difficult time.
People are suffering.
People are dying.
The only thing that matters is that we put the country in the right direction to recover.
Testing. Tracing. Isolation. Medical Care. Jobs. Transportation. LSI’s. OFWs in distress. A rational educational plan.
People are cynical and fast losing hope.
Now is the time for leaders and NOT politicians.
THIS JUST IN: Papayagan na ang backriding sa motorsiklo ng mga mag-asawa o mag-partner simula Biyernes, July 10, ayon sa anunsyo ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año.
Ayon sa kalihim, sila ang mga papayagang umangkas: ‘Living in one household whether they are married, common-law husband and wife, or boyfriend and girlfriend but they are living in one household,’ he posted.
