Alfonso’s COVID 19-free streak ends after 52 days, says Mayor Randy Salamat
After 52 days of logging zero COVID 19 cases, Alfonso has one new confirmed patient, Mayor Randy Salamat announced on Facebook.
Salamat said the patient is a 55-year-old diabetic and has been in the hospital for a month due to a foot infection.
The patient underwent a swab test on June 29 and the results came out on June 2.
The patient remains in the hospital and the patient’s close contacts have been placed on home quarantine. They will also undergo a swab test.
Salamat said he was praying for the patient’s recovery and reminded Alfonso residents to continue to exercise caution.
Let’s hope the numbers don’t rise!
Siya po 55 years old, lalaki, taga Poblacion 2.
