San Pedro Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz finally meets city officials face to face

Jul 2, 2020 @ 11:01

It seemed San Pedro Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz had missed the people working for her in city hall because of the quarantine.

In a Facebook post, Cataquiz said she had gathered the department and unit heads of the city for a meeting for the first time since the enhanced community quarantine was imposed in March.

It was great to see them all again, she said.

They discussed program and projects that had been put on hold, as well as the problems caused by COVID 19 that need to be addressed.

The city hall employees were also directed to meet with the people under them to discuss the implementation of future projects.

The mayor said she remained steadfast in her belief that they could overcome the challenges.

Much remains to be done in the coming days!

“It’s great to meet them all again!
