Tayo na sa Antipolo! Andeng Ynares offers free return trip for stranded persons
Residents of Antipolo who are stranded in various provinces due to the enforcement of community quarantine measures can return to the city for free.
Antipolo Mayor Andeng Ynares recently urged stranded residents to register for the local government’s “Balik Antipolo” program.
Under the initiative, stranded residents need to register via this link: bit.ly/BalikAntipoloOnlineRegistration. The local government will help them return to Antipolo.
Ynares, however, made it clear that residents who will return to Antipolo from other provinces still need to undergo quarantine and monitoring by the city health office even if they already had medical clearance from the police.
“Tuloy-tuloy ang ating Balik Antipolo program upang muling makauwi at makasama ng ating mga stranded na kababayan ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay,” she said.
