Bakasyon sana! Sta. Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas looks back on Japan trip
If the COVID 19 pandemic did not take place, Sta. Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas should have been on a reunion vacation in Japan by now.
But since all travel is suspended, Arcillas just decided to look back on her Japan vacation a year ago.
In a Facebook post, she shared the photo of her trip to Osaka as she reminisced about the happy memories.
The people she was with back then were supposed to join her again, had their plans not been cancelled, she said.
But she is not disheartened, and shared a quote saying that life will always be complicated, so we should learn to be happy right here, right now or else we will run out of time.
Her vacation may have been cancelled, but she does not have to cancel her happiness!
“JUNE 22, 2020 | “DON’T WAIT FOR THINGS TO GET EASIER, SIMPLER, BETTER. LIFE WILL ALWAYS BE COMPLICATED. LEARN TO BE HAPPY RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW. OTHERWISE, YOU’LL RUN OUT OF TIME.” ?
Photos taken exactly a year ago in Osaka, Japan (June 22, 2019) ?
If the situation had been different this year, same group I was with last year would have had a reunion & will be in Japan this time. But the situation this time caused us to cancel the trip. Still, this quote applies more now than normal times with this pandemic.
Let us all have a good week ahead!❤️?,” Arcillas posted.
