Saan na short time? Taytay shutters motel for lack of permit
The local government of Taytay has closed down a motel for operating without a permit from the Department of Tourism.
Representatives from the local Task Force Kontra Covid-19 Law Enforcement Cluster closed down Mariposa Budget Hotel on Saturday, June 6.
The Taytay Public Information Office said the hotel violated guidelines of the inter-agency task force on emerging infectious diseases about the necessity of obtaining a certification for operation from the Department of Tourism.
The hotel management was reportedly given enough time to comply with requirements but still failed to get a permit.
Representatives from the Business Permits and Licensing Office and police implemented the closure order.
