Andeng Ynares appeals to bizmen: Offer cashless payment options
Antipolo Mayor Andeng Ynares has appealed to businessmen in the city to put up cashless payment options as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.
In a June 1 Facebook post, Ynares said cashless payment options will prevent people from handling bills, which may contain bacteria and viruses.
“Tulad po sa ibang bansa, bibili lang ng street food tulad ng fish ball o kaya ay kakain sa karenderia, hindi po tinatanggap ang cash dahil lahat po sa kanila ay cashless transaction ang inaral at ngayon po ay nakasanayan na,” she said.
Among the cashless payment options that the mayor said businessmen may consider are PayMaya, GCash, AUB PayMate, Coins.PH, Dragon Pay, 7-Connect/CliQQ, GrabPay, Paypal Debit, BankO and Alipay.
Ynares said the city council will soon release a resolution requiring businessmen to offer cashless payment options.
