Say your prayers! Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula meets with parishes to prepare for religious services
Taytay residents better get ready to say their prayers in church.
Mayor Joric Gacula is preparing for the resumption of religious services once the town is placed under modified general community quarantine.
In a Facebook post, Gacula said he met with church leaders to discuss the health and safety protocols that have to be followed when religious activities resume.
He said he was satisfied with the new measures laid down.
When it comes to the virus, we can’t just rely on prayers alone!
“Pagpupulong sa 7 Parokya Katoliko ng Taytay sa paghahanda ng pag bubukas ng Religious Services kapag tayo ay nasa Modified General Community Quarantine na or MGCQ. Sa utos ng Archbishop na mag sagawa ng mahigpit na Social Distancing at Health and Security Protocols, ipinatawag ni Father Jhonas Enopia S.C. – Vicar Forane at ng ating st John the Baptist Parish Priest Noel Pedrito Rabonza ang lahat ng kaparian ng Taytay upang maglahad ng mga alituntunin ng simbahan sa pag dating ng panahon na papayagan na ng National Inter Agency Task Force and pagbabalik ng Religious services and gatherings. Pinapurihan ko ang mga measures na aprubado ni Archbishop Francisco De Leon ng archdiocese of Antipolo sa pagapapahalaga sa Safety ng mga deboto ng simbahang katoliko,” Gacula posted.
