It’s OK not to be OK: Jonvic Remulla says mental health important amid pandemic
Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla has reminded the public to take care of their mental health even as they take steps to protect themselves against COVID-19.
In a Facebook post, Remulla said it was “ok not to be ok.”
Remulla said ordinary people also experience stress as they adapt to a “new normal.”
For children, it is waking up every day to closed doors in a world where they were meant to be free and explore,” he said.
Remulla said he will be talking to mental health experts in the coming days to find out how ordinary people can check if they have signs of mental distress.
