300 Antipolo residents undergo COVID-19 rapid test
The city government of Antipolo continues to conduct rapid tests for COVID-19 in a bid to contain the spread of the disease.
Mayor Andeng Ynares shared that on May 23, 300 residents of Barangay Mayamot underwent rapid tests.
In a Facebook post, she said over 100 were tested through drive-thru booths because the testing area was spacious.
Five of the residents who underwent rapid tests tested positive for the virus, which meant they had to undergo PCR testing to confirm if they indeed have COVID-19.
Ynares said the government has conducted 5,000 rapid tests so far and it plans to continue testing residents for COVID-19.
