Working in ‘new normal’: Helen Tan uses 2 iPads for Zoom meetings
Quezon Rep. Helen Tan is making the most of technology to do her job as a lawmaker even if she can’t be at the House of Representatives for now.
Tan shared on Facebook May 14 a selfie of her using two iPads to monitor two Zoom meetings going on simultaneously.
“ATM:Multi tasking. CHTE meeting/PIDS Webinar,” her caption read.
Tan is a member of the House committee on higher and technical education, which held a virtual hearing last week on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on colleges and universities.
As chair of the House health committee, Tan also monitored the webinar of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) on COVID-19’s impact on the health system and economy.
The House leadership has allowed committees to hold virtual hearings in observance of the social distancing protocol during the COVID-19 pandemic.
