‘Di lahat pwede! Gemma Lubigan tells what establishments will remain closed once Trece Martires is under GCQ
It will still not be business as usual for some establishments when the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Luzon is downgraded into general community quarantine (GCQ).
In a Facebook post, Mayor Gemma Lubigan listed down the business establishments which will remain closed under GCQ, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gyms and Sports Facilities
-Wellness & Spa
– Entertainment establishments such as theaters, cinemas, carnivals, arenas, pubs and bars
– Convention Centers
– Events Place
-Gambling and betting sites
-Hotels and apartelles
-Travel agencies and tourism related businesses
-Other related businesses where there are mass gatherings
Lubigan said business establishments which do not belong to the listed industries should apply for an ECQ Special Permit to Operate at the city hall before resuming operations.
She said that while the permit is free, business establishments must follow certain guidelines to ensure they remain operational, such as limiting the number of customers inside the store and making wearing of face masks mandatory.
“Ang mga business establishment owners na mapapatunayang nag ooperate ng walang kaukulang permit na binangit dito ay maaring maharap sa kaso. Ito ay may kaparusahang multa at pagkakulong. Inaasahan po ang pagsunod ng lahat,” she warned.
