Laguna Rep. Ruth Mariano Hernandez says she has always been an ABSCBN supporter
While the House of Representatives is getting flak for sitting on the franchise renewal bill of ABS-CBN, Laguna Rep. Ruth Mariano Hernandez wants people to know she always had its back.
In a Facebook psot, Hernandez said she the co-author of a bill for its franchise renewal.
She said she believes the network should be allowed to continue operating since it is an institution that has long been in place and provides information and entertainment to Filipinos.
It also provides a lot of people with jobs and helps people in need, she said.
While ABS-CBN has issues to answer and things to fix, she said there are remedies to these.
If she had her way, the network would continue to operate!
Ang inyo pong lingkod ay co-author ng proposed HB 3521, An Act Renewing the Franchise Granted to ABS-CBN Corporation under Republic Act No. 7966 otherwise known as “An Act Granting ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation a Franchise to Construct, Install, Operate and Maintain Television and Radio Broadcasting Stations in the Philippines, and for Other Purposes” for Twenty-Five (25) Years from the Effectivity of this Act”.
God bless everyone?❤️,” Hernandez posted.
