May dagdag ayuda: Ramil Hernandez reveals what’s part of Laguna’s 2nd wave of relief efforts
Residents of Laguna are set to receive food packs and cash aid anew as the local government rolls out the second wave of relief efforts amid the COVID-19 crisis.
In a Facebook post, Governor Ramil Hernandez said around 430,000 food packs will be distributed in the coming days.
Each food pack contains three kilos of rice, two pieces of canned goods, instant noodles and coffee. However, there are also packs which only contain four kilos of rice due to the shortage of canned goods.
Hernandez appealed to residents to be more understanding if the food packs they receive lack canned goods.
“Kung meron pong kabawasan sa mga naturang laman ng relief ay huwag munang magduda sa inyong mga barangay officials na pinamahala namin sa pamamahagi nito. Sila po ang makakapagpaliwanag ng kadahilanan na maari namang may magandang hangarin,” he said.
The governor said the local government will also distribute P5 million in cash assistance that came from President Rodrigo Duterte.
