Gemma Lubigan partially lifts lockdown of barangay
Trece Martires, Cavite Mayor Gemma Lubigan has announced the partial lifting of the total lockdown in Barangay De Ocampo starting May 1, 5 a.m.
In a Facebook post, Lubigan said her decision was based on the recommendation of Trece Martires’ COVID-19 task force and the results of contact tracing of the city health office.
She, however, cautioned residents that it was not yet time to let their guard down.
The mayor said the curfew will remain in place even if the lockdown has eased. All residents are also required to wear face masks when they go outside their homes.
