May krisis na nagsamantala pa! Andeng Ynares fumes over Antipolo residents falsifying cash aid forms
Antipolo, Rizal Mayor Andeng Ynares is dismayed that some residents are lying through their teeth to get cash assistance from the national government.
In an April 25 Facebook post, Ynares said she received information that some residents have not been truthful in their interviews with representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).
The mayor said she’s upset that some people take advantage of the COVID-19 crisis since the DSWD only set a cap of 89,193 residents for cash aid beneficiaries.
“Hindi lang po gobyerno ang niloloko niyo kundi pati mga kababayan natin na kwalipikado ayon sa mga kundisyon ng DSWD. Alam po natin na lahat tayo ay apektado ng COVID krisis at nangangailangan din, pero may mga qualifications po at criteria AYON O BASE PO SA GUIDELINES NG DSWD at hindi po depinisyon ng kung sinuman, kahit lahat naman ay nahihirapan at nangangailangan,” she said.
Qualified residents of Antipolo will receive P6,5000 from DSWD to help tide their families over amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ynares urged residents to be truthful in applying for cash aid and the public to report unscrupulous individuals.
“Amin po silang iimbestigahan at kakasuhan kung mapatunayan na sila ay hindi qualified pero tumanggap pa din ng pondo mula sa SAP. Sa bawat sumbong po ninyo, at mapatunayan namin na hindi sila karapatdapat, may isang pamilya po kayong natulungan,” she said.
