Trece Martires, Cavite Mayor Gemma Lubigan has placed two barangays under extreme enhanced community quarantine after a person tested positive for COVID-19 before his death.

In an April 7 letter, Lubigan said entry and exit to Barangays Lapidario and Inocencio will be restricted upon the recommendation of the COVID-19 task force and the city health office.

Lubigan said guidelines have been issued to the police and other related authorities on the enforcement of the extreme enhanced community quarantine in the two barangays.

“Makakaasa po kayo na patuloy na kumikilos ang ating Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 na binubuo ng LGU/RHU, DRRMO, BFP, at PNP ang ating BHERT sa pagbibigay ng preventive measures, quarantine control, enforcement of social distancing protocols at daily update reports,” she said.
