No lockdown of palengkes, says Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula
The rise of COVID 19 cases in Rizal may have prompted officials to put te province under lockdown, but this does not mean public markets would be closed.
Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula issued this reassurance as he asked his constituents not to panic.
Gacula said the markets would only be shut down if the shoppers defy rules and do not practice social distancing, he said.
So make sure you comply with the guidelines, lest you make the situation worse!
“Huwag mag panic.Hindi po kasama sa Rizal Lockdown ang mga palengke . Maliban lang kung pasaway ang mamimili at walang social distancing,” Gacula posted.
