Quezon Governor Danilo Suarez has visited the provincial capitol to get an update on the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) crisis.
In a Facebook post Monday, April 6, Suarez said he met with department heads to find out the status of their programs to help families affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
He also asked for updates on COVID-19 cases in the province, and local health officials’ plan to prevent the number of infected individuals from growing.
“Binigyang pansin po natin ang patuloy na kagyat, kasalukuyan at ang mga hinaharap nating hakbanging medikal, agrikultural, pang-ayuda sa pamilya at iba pa, upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng lalawigan sa paglaban natin sa krisis na COVID19,” Suarez said.
As of April 5, there are 13 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Quezon.
