Gold medalist na ba tayo? Gemma Lubigan frustrated at violators of COVID-19 curfew, quarantine pass
Trece Martires, Cavite Mayor Gemma Lubigan is frustrated that the police continue to arrest violators of the quarantine pass and curfew despite the serious threat of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In a Facebook post, Lubigan shared that the police apprehended 155 violators in a day.
“Hindi ko pa alam if GOLD MEDALIST NA TAYO NOW. [medal emoji] [medal emoji] [medal emoji],” she said.
Lubigan stressed that COVID-19 cases will continue to rise if people won’t take the order to stay at home seriously.
“PATULOY NA PAGLABAS MEANS MAS MATAAS NA RISK NG HAWAAN. MARAMING TAO NA CARRIER NA PERO WALANG SYMPTOMS. HINDI MATATAPOS ANG QUARANTINE NA ITO KUNG HINDI MACONTAIN ANG VIRUS,” she said.
The police gave violators of the curfew and quarantine pass a seminar on COVID-19 before telling them to return to their homes.
