‘Di madadaan sa pakiusap: Jonvic Remulla orders strict enforcement of quarantine pass
Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla has ordered the police to strictly enforce the holding of quarantine pass to buy basic goods.
In a Facebook post, Remulla said he asked the police to exercise “minimum tolerance” for violators.
“Pakisabihan ang inyong mga kaibigan, na kung wala kayong rason, trabaho, o ‘1 quarantine pass per family’ pass para bumili ng pangunahing pangagailangan ay dadalhin kayo sa presinto,” he said.
“Pasensya na po at walang paki-usapan dito. Ang mga repeat violators will be charged,” Remulla said.
To stress he isn’t playing games, the governor said violators may have to wait for a month to stand trial since courts are also working with only a handful of employees.
“Pag kayo ay na-inquest ng police ay 1 month kayo maghihintay ng judge para ma hearing ang kaso ninyo,” he said.
