Ganyanan pala ha! Jonvic Remulla, Ramil Hernandez exchange letters on checkpoint woes
Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla has sent a funny letter to Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez after he was barred from entering Nuvali after the province was placed on a lockdown due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In a Facebook post, Remulla jokingly said Caviteños are known for their bravery while those from Laguna only know how to pray.
“Tignan mo pangalan Ng mga bayan mo: San Pedro; Santa Cruz; Sta Rosa. Kami dito: General Trias; General Aguinaldo; General Mariano Alvarez. Nilikha kami sa digmaan,” he said.
Remulla said he will set up a checkpoint along Carmona, Cavite so that Hernandez can’t pass through it going to Manila.
“Umikot ka Ng Rizal ngayon para maramdaman mo ang nararamdaman ng mga kababyan ko,” he said.
In response to Remulla’s post, Hernandez said the checkpoints he set up in Laguna were meant for everyone’s safety.
“At pahiram naman ng mga mandirigma mo dyan para sa matitigas ang ulo dine sa amin,” he said.
“Kung papogian naman ang usapan mas matangkad ka laang sa akin pero tao na magsabi kung kaninong gobernador ang mas pogi,” Hernandez added.
