Jenny Barzaga reminds Dasmariñas residents: Follow curfew for COVID-19
Dasmariñas, Cavite Mayor Jenny Barzaga has reminded residents that the city government is strictly implementing the curfew imposed as part of the enhanced community quarantine due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In a Facebook post, Barzaga said around 100 violators have been apprehended by the police for violating the curfew.
The violators, she said were brought to the covered court, which was converted to serve as a temporary detention facility.
Starting March 21, a curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. has been in place in Dasmariñas City. No one is allowed to go out of their homes unless they are frontline workers, police, government officials, first responders or delivering essential goods.
“Tayo po ay makiisa at sumunod sa mga ipinaguutos para sa ating kapakanan at kaligtasan,” Barzaga said.
