Taytay gives food packs to families amid quarantine
The municipal government of Taytay is making sure residents don’t go hungry even if they’re required to stay at home under the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.
Employees from the municipal hall packed bags containing food items on Friday, March 20, for distribution to Taytay’s five barangays.
The food packs were distributed to barangay officials for delivery to residents’ homes.
President Rodrigo Duterte placed Luzon under enhanced community quarantine to slow down the growth of COVID-19 cases. It will last until April 13.
Under the quarantine, Filipinos should stay at home unless they need to work in essential industries or run errands such as buy groceries and medicine.
