Taong bahay muna! San Pedro Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz orders work from home scheme for city hall employees
San Pedro Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz is complying with the President’s order placing Luzon under enhanced community quarantine by ordering a work from home scenario for city employees to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
In a Facebook post, Cataquiz said employees who belong to the health and emergency frontline services and other critical services are still required to report for duty in order to establish an essential skeletal workforce.
Social welfare personnel were also directed to be on standby for relief operations, while department heads were told to keep communication lines open.
Service continues even from home!
“In line with the strict enforcement of the Enhanced Community Quarantine Over the Entire Luzon issued by our President Rodrigo Duterte, and in order to keep our employees safe from the threats brought about by the CoViD-19 virus, the City Government of San Pedro is adopting a work from home arrangement for its employees today (Tuesday, March 17, 2020).
However, employees who belong to the Health and Emergency frontline services, POSO (TMU and CSU), CENRO, PAIO and other critical services are still required to report for duty in order to establish an essential skeletal workforce. CSWD personnel are directed to be on standby for relief operations.
Department Heads are directed to keep their lines open.
We strongly advise all our employees to await further instructions and to remain indoors,” Cataquiz posted.
