Laguna Rep. Len Alonte is calling on the public to heed the government’s order to stay at home as part of the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.

In an Instagram post, Alonte shared an art card which read: “Be thankful if you are called to stay at home. Others are called to be at the frontlines.”

Alonte said staying at home will benefit not just an individual, but also the community.

“Please cooperate and follow your gov’t’s advisory. We need your help!?? Let love for others and sacrifice rule in our hearts in this most trying time,” she said.

Alonte also lauded the frontliners who still needed to work despite the declaration of quarantine due to the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

“A big shout out to all the health workers, volunteers, military and pnp personnel and all the frontliners.♥️ Mabuhay po kayo!♥️” she said.
