Infanta Mayor Filipina Grace America guards town borders amid COVID 19 scare
Infanta Mayor Filipina Grace America is following Metro Manila’s lead and implementing checkpoints at the town’s entry and exit points.
A post on America’s Facebook page said the mayor met with officials about the checkpoints, which would be set up to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus or COVID 19.
It would be used to monitor those going into town for symptoms of the virus.
Present at the meeting were members of the police, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the barangay officials.
Looks like everybody in on board with this idea!
