60-year old man is Antipolo’s first virus carrier, Ynares sends disinfection team
Mayor Andrea Ynares confirmed that the coronavirus has reached Antipolo City.
Ynares reported Sunday, 15 rch 2020, that a 60-year-old man residing in Rich Gate Homes Subdivision in Brgy. Mambugan, Antipolo were tested positive for Covid-19.
The man was infected locally as he had no foreign travel history. Ynares said the man was brought to the hospital on March 9 and diagnosed with pulmonary infection She said her staff has conducted house-to-house checking of body temperature to contain the spread of the virus.
“Dahil sa unang case ng COVID19, pinabalik natin ang ating mga bumbero para mag disinfect sa Rich Gate Homes Subd, Bgy Mambugan at sa mga komunidad na nakapaligid dito tulad ng Villa Cecilla at Kingsville,” said Ynares on Facebook.
