Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto says Covid patient from his town, implements health and safety measures
Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto said on Facebook that the town is taking steps to implement health and sanitary measures after a subdivision confirmed that one of its residents tested positive for Covid 19.
Nieto shared the post on Facebook and said he and Cainta’s health team have gone around to distribute disinfectants, masks and letters to homeowners to ensure they have not had personal contact with the patient.
He said the patient has not been in his house for a week, but his housemates were nevertheless advised to restrict their movements based on Department of Health directives.
He also directed the health office to send masks and disinfectants to the homeowners’ association for those who live far but who may still want to protect themselves.
The DOH has also been meeting with Cainta’s health officers to discuss future steps.
Cainta is taking action against the virus!
Nieto posted.
