Talisay Vice Mayor Charlie Natanauan slams absentee councilors and resource persons
When it comes to public service, showing up for work is a definite requirement.
This is why Talisay Vice Mayor Charlie Natanauan isn’t letting pass the absenteeism of his colleagues and department heads invited to the council’s session.
Natanauan called them out in a Facebook post, saying that the town would not accomplish anything if they refuse to show up to the session.
Among those that would be delayed would be finding solutions to the housing problems and giving people new means of livelihood after the Taal Volcano eruption.
Each day that passes without the council finishing something is a day wasted, he said.
He appealed to them to have some compassion for the people in evacuation centers.
It’s your job to show up!
