Feb 16, 2020 @ 21:48

Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste’s concern for those displaced by Taal Volcano’s unrest isn’t limited to humans.

Leviste recently traveled to the area where the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is keeping the horses rescued near Taal Volcano to show them some love.

Photos shared by the vice governor on Instagram showed him petting the horses, feeding them and giving them water.

In the caption, Leviste shared the acronym “TAAL”: Treat All Animals with Love.

He said PAWS has an upcoming event for the animals rescued from Taal, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The event, which features the hashtag, #pawsfurstdatetaal, involved spending time with the animals on February 12 and 13.
