Walang pasok! Taytay Councilor Papoo Cruz announces Feb. 17 holiday for town festival
A long weekend is ahead for residents of Taytay who want to give thanks for their blessings and to celebrate what the town has to offer.
Taytay Councilor Papoo Cruz announced on Facebook that President Duterte has declared February 20 as a holiday in the whole municipality for the HaMaKa festival.
Taytay’s request to make the third Monday of February a non-working day for the HaMaKa festival has borne fruit, he added.
Now the Taytayenos could devote all their time to the town’s special day!
“Abangers! Assemble!Ü Eto na! Holiday na sa buong Taytay sa Feb.17,2020 (Monday) dahil sa Presidential Proclamation 903.
Napagbigyan po ulit ang Resolution natin requesting President Duterte to declare the 3rd Monday of Feb as a Special Non-Working Day sa Taytay in celebration of the HaMaKa Festival,” Cruz posted.
