Keep yourself safe, follow credible sources of info, Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez tells constituents
As fears are stoked over the news that the Philippines has confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez wants his constituents to keep themselves safe.
And Hernandez would rather they get their information on how to deal the virus from credible sources.
In a Facebook post, he shared guidelines from the Department of Health and the World Health Organization.
These include tips for people to keep themselves safe, including frequently washing their hands and avoiding people with coughs and colds.
He also advised the people of Laguna to follow the social media platforms of government agencies, and to get their information from credible news organizations.
Falling victim to sloppy information and fake news might make you sick!
Patuloy tayong magdasal at mag-ingat,” he said.
