Taytay is nCoV free, says Councilor Papoo Cruz

Feb 1, 2020 @ 16:01

As concerns mount over the spread of the novel coronavirus, Councilor Papoo Cruz is correcting false claims that one case has been reported in Taytay.

In a Facebook post, Cruz said messages being spread that a patient in Manila East would be transferred to San Lazaro Hospital because the patient is 80 percent likely to have nCoV is fake.

There is no test result that can determine the percentage of the virus, and no local hospital that can administer tests for nCoV, he said.

Nevertheless, it would not hurt to be cautious by practicing proper hygiene and taking care of one’s health.

But spreading fake news is definitely a no no in times like these.

Don’t add to the chaos!

“#FakeNews Alert!

Magdasal. Magvitamins. Maging mapanuri bago mag-Share,” Cruz posted.
