Put nCoV in the proper perspective, says Cavite Rep. Dahlia Loyola

Feb 1, 2020 @ 16:09

While health experts are worried about the novel coronavirus because it has no known cure as of now, Cavite Rep. Dahlia Loyola also reminded people to have a little perspective.

In a Facebook post, Loyola said the common fuel kills 60 times more people than the novel coronavirus.

The latter is usually fatal to people with weak immune systems or the elderly, she added.

She said she shared this information not to downplay nCoV, since people still need to be careful.

She just wants to offer an accurate picture of the virus so as not to create undue panic.

Calibrate your reaction!
