Couple goals! Ramil Hernandez, wife give aid to Taal Volcano evacuees
Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez and his wife Ruth, a congresswoman, spent time together giving relief goods to Batangas residents displaced by Taal Volcano’s unrest.
On January 24, the couple went around evacuation centers in Laguna where the evacuees have taken shelter to give assistance.
The Hernandezes assured them that the local government will do everything to make their stay in the province comfortable.
Close to 9,000 families from Batangas evacuated to Laguna after Taal Volcano erupted on January 12. There are 23 evacuation centers all over the province.
Joining the couple in their visit were officials from provincial government offices.
