Walang ginugutom! Sweet Halili clarifies protocol in distributing relief goods
Tanauan, Batangas Mayor Sweet Halili has denied reports that the local government was selective in distributing relief goods to residents affected by Taal Volcano’s restiveness.
In a Facebook post, Halili said all evacuees are entitled to receive relief goods.
Lahat po pinapakain,” she said.
The mayor, however, said a protocol must be followed to ensure those who line up for relief goods are evacuees from Tanauan.
Halili appealed to the public not to believe social media posts on the local government’s alleged selectivity in giving out relief goods. She said those were only created to mar the reputation of social workers.
