Talisay Vice Mayor Charlie Natanuan has important questions for the DILG
After calling on the Philippine Institute of Volcanogy and Seismology chief to change his mind about the imminent eruption of Taal Volcanoy, Talisay Vice Mayor Charlie Natanuan now has crucial questions for Interior Secretary Eduardo Ano.
Ano had ordered the lockdown of several towns in Batangas and Natanauan said this has a major impact on the lives of people in his town.
In a Facebook post, Natanauan asked when the lockdown would be lifted since residents badly need to feed their pet cows, horses, goats, pigs, chicken, dogs, and cats.
Otherwise, these animals who have gone hungry for days now and which are so crucial to their lives will perish.
This has also affected the mental health of distressed Talisay residents, and Natanauan asked who would be held accountable if they become depressed and die due to stress from thinking of the welfare of their pets and animals.
These animals were supposed to help them start anew after the calamity, he said.
And the vice mayor also wants to know who would be held accountable for the lower values of the and in Talisay and for the decision of investors to stay away because of so much fear?
As Talisay’s fate hangs in the balance, maybe the questions should be answered!
