No one will go hungry in Cainta, says Mayor Kit Nieto
Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto wants to make sure his constituents won’t go to bed with empty stomachs.
This was why starting January 30 up to the end of his term, from his 5 pm onwards, the local government would conduct a feeding program at the westbank floodway, he said in a Facebook post.
He said the food would be enough for a thousand people and personnel will feed all those who fall in line. It would be first come, first served.
But the people who want to be fed have to bring their own utensils and plates as the local government wants to cut down on costs.
They would be given two kinds of viands and a cup of rice as well as drinks.
This would be available every day without fail, he stressed.
The mayor doesn’t want his people going hungry!
