No to firecrackers, yes to videoke singing during new year revelry, says Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola
Nobody wants to start the new year with a tragedy, so Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola is reminding his constituents that there is a safe and proper way to party.
In a Facebook post, Loyola stressed that manufacturing, selling, and using any kind of firecracker is prohibited in Carmona.
So is using open pipes and mufflers on vehicles to make noise.
If you want to make noise, there are many other options to turn to, he added.
Singing your hearts out using videoke and karaoke machines is one way, and residents are allowed to use these up to the morning of January 1, he said.
It’s really a safe way to ring in the new year, but you better be prepared for side comments and judgments if your voice is not up to par!

Loyola posted.
