Tama na muna ang tagay! Laguna Ramil Hernandez bans sale of lambanog following death of drinkers

Dec 23, 2019 @ 9:41

For the holidays, it would be better for Laguna revelers to do without lambanog for the meantime.

Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez banned the sale of lambanog in the province following reports that people in Rizal had died after ingesting the fermented drink.

In a Facebook post, Hernandez said the ban would be in place while the police investigate the poisoning.

He also condoled with the families of those who died and prayed for the speedy recovery of those taken to the hospital after falling sick

He vowed to help the affected.

For now, let’s just celebrate with other food and other drinks.

Better safe than sorry!
