Testing muna! Sol Aragones joins pilot registration for nat’l ID
Laguna Rep. Sol Aragones had the chance to be one of the first Filipinos to apply for a national ID when the Philippine Statistics Authority held a pilot registration at the House of Representatives.
Aragones, one of the advocates for the passage of the National ID Law, had her biometrics and other personal information taken as part of the registration.
In an Instagram post, Aragones shared snippets of the registration process, which included iris and fingerprint scans.
She said the mass registration will be held in 2020.
“Iaanunsyo ng Philippine Statistics Authority ang schedule sa inyong mga lugar.Para sa iba pang katanungan pwede ninyo po na bisitahin ang website ng PSA,” Aragones said.
