Lights off! Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola turns off Xmas lights in town to prepare for Tisoy
Christmas lights are pretty to look at, but not when there’s a storm raging outside.
Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola has informed his constituents and residents of nearby towns who may want to see Carmon’s Christmas decorations to postpone their visit for a while.
In a Facebook post, Loyola said the local government decided to turn off the lights and remove the decorations temporarily to prevent any accident during the expected onslaught of typhoon Tisoy.
He also reminded them to prepare their homes and themselves, and to keep themselves updated about the developments.
Safety before beauty!
