Angelica Jones gives books, toys to kids at Nagcarlan hospital
Laguna District 3 Board Member Angelica Jones showed her doting side when she visited children confined at the Nagcarlan District Hospital for dengue on November 15.
In a Facebook post, Jones shared photos of her talking to the children and their parents at the ward where they were confined. She said she gave the patients books, toys and snacks to help uplift their spirits.
As a mother, Jones said her heart breaks seeing children confined at the hospital.
“Ramdam ko Kung paano maging isang ina lalo na..Kung bata pa Ito…doble Ang Sakit sa isang ina,” she said.
The board member said there’s truth to the adage parents say that it’s better for them to be sick rather than for their children to catch a disease.
Jones urged the public to exercise caution to ensure dengue will no longer spread and infect more people.
