Laguna landfill? I didn’t approve it, says Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez

Nov 14, 2019 @ 15:03

A controversy is apparently brewing over reports that a landfill would be put up in Alaminos, Laguna.

But Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez wants to make it clear that he has approved no such proposal.

If ever, such a plan would have to originate from the local government of Alaminos, which would have to discuss and approve such a propsal, he said in a Facebook post.

So those who oppose the presence of a landfill should bring their concerns to the Alaminos officials, he said.

A public hearing should be conducted first, he added.

Will the stench over this issue later reach the capitol?
