Binan Rep. Len Alonte joins country in mourning loss of Nene Pimentel
Binan Rep. Len Alonte is one of the millions of Filipinos who are saddened by the demise of former Senate Pres. Nene Pimentel.
Alonte paid tribute to the late Senator in a Facebook post.
In her post, Alonte described Pimentel as a great statesman and lauded him for being a staunch advocate of human rights.
Pimentel, the father of the local government code, also embodied the Filipino spirit that thrived under adversity, she added.

“Cong. Len Alonte-Naguiat, together with her family, mourns the passing of a great statesman and a staunch advocate of human rights, former Senate President Aquilino ‘Nene’ Pimentel. His life and legacy celebrate the indomitable spirit of the Filipinos which thrives even under the direst of conditions.
