Nuts about coconut! Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat to serve buko juice in all govt meetings

Oct 9, 2019 @ 12:35

Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat has decided to embark on something that is both delicious and beneficial to farmers.

Salamat joined the launch of the Philippine Coconut Authority’s Calabarazon Summer Buko program, which aims to entice local governments to serve buko juice, instead of instant or powdered juices, during meetings or programs in government offices.

He vowed to participate in the program, and paid tribute to farmers.

The farmers bring so much benefit to people because without them, we would not have healthy food to eat, he said.

He would always support agricultural programs in Alfonso, he added.

The program is intended to help farmers, but all the government employees and their guests would benefit as well because who doesn’t love a cold glass of buko juice?

It’s delicious and healthy, the perfect drink!
