Batangas Rep. Raneo Abu goes to market
With Congress on a month-long recess, Batangas Rep. Raneo Abu has set aside lawmaking for now and decided to visit the market in Bauan.
But it wasn’t any simple palengke tour because Abu used the chance to check on the condition of the place and to determine what the vendors and customers of the market need.
He also helped efforts to ensure that the meat being sold in the market are safe, as part of Meat Safety Consciousness Month.
And to allay fears over the safety of the meat for sale, he feasted on lechon himself.
His visit sure had a safe and delicious end!
